My live activity feed says an email sent by EventHQ has bounced back to EventHQ. What can I do about that?

Sometimes your attendees will make a mistake when entering their email address. Fortunately, EventHQ detects bounced emails and reports them to you. These reports will appear in your live activity feed on the dashboard and also in the attendee/order record. Here's what you can do about it.

Click the link in the bounce report or find the attendee/order using EventHQ's built in search systems

All bounce reports will include a link to the attendee or order record affected. Or you can use the global search system or the specific search systems to find the record.

On the attendee/order details page, scroll down to the timeline and click the "resend email" link

Enter the correct email address, or a different email address if appropriate

We also recommend ticking the checkbox labelled Update the record to this email address so that future emails do not bounce. Then click "resend email". The email will now be marked as queued and will be resent.
