How can I stop EventHQ sending a particular email to attendees/payers?

EventHQ sends emails out to attendees and order payers at key points in the booking lifecycle. You might not always want automatic emails to go out though, so here's how to turn off any given automatic email.

ImportantTurning off a global email template will not also turn off any event-specific versions of the same template. If you have turned off an email template but it is still getting sent out, please check first that you don't have any event specific overrides in place.

In the Email templates section, click the name of the template you want to turn off

A modal window will appear where you can make changes, turn on/off the email template, preview the template and send yourself a test email

Untick the checkbox labelled "If ticked then this email template is active and will be sent out"

Click the "Edit template" button to save your changes

A small "disabled" tag will appear next to the name of any disabled templates

Click the "Edit template" button to save your changes
