How can I accept payments by cheque/BACS/cash?

In addition to accepting payments online by credit/debit card, EventHQ also supports payments made offline, e.g. by BACS or cheque.

The instructions field can contain any information the buyer needs to know in order to use this payment method

For example, if paying by cheque, the buyer would need to know who to make the cheque payable to and where to send it. If paying via BACS the buyer would need to know the bank account details where payment should be sent.

The Admin only field should be ticked if you want this payment method to be available only to logged in administrators

Many EventHQ customers want their attendees to only be able to pay online as this is more convenient. However, it is useful for logged in administrators to be able to handle payments offline for those attendees who do not wish to or cannot pay online.

If the "admin only" field is ticked, then the payment method being activated will only be available to logged in administrators.

Enter the value of any transaction fees you wish to levy on payments made via this method

Click the Activate button to save your new payment method
