How do I change the subdomain used for my EventHQ account?

The subdomain for your EventHQ account provides you with a unique place on the web where your events get published. An example would be http://company.eventhq.co.uk. We recommend you use a generic subdomain which is as short as possible. Good examples might include "gsk" for GlaxoSmithKline or "bats" for the Bat Conservation Trust.

ImportantIf you change your subdomain then all links to your previous subdomain will immediately stop working. Please only change your subdomain if you are absolutely certain you need to do so

The subdomain field is disabled by default to prevent users from accidentally changing their subdomain and breaking their events pages as a result. You must choose to enable the field before making any changes.

Subdomains must be at least 3 letters long, cannot include special characters except - and _ and must not be already in use.
