How can I embed custom javascript into my public pages?

Advanced users can alter the appearance/functionality of EventHQ public pages using custom javascript. This can be used to insert Typekit code or custom analytics code into your pages, or to change the way in which the pages appear, or even to add new functionality to EventHQ. Before adding custom javascript, please check the EventHQ App store for an already built integration that already does what you need.

ImportantThe public pages already include jQuery, but we recommend you wrap your code (if appropriate) in a jQuery on document ready closure

Scroll down to the  javascript section of the page and type/paste in your code, then click "Update javascript"

EventHQ uses a script editor to help make entering your code easier

Check your public pages to ensure the code works as expected

ImportantWe strongly recommend you test your code in multiple browsers, including on mobile devices to ensure your attendees don't experience problems. The browsers you should test will depend on your expected audience. E.g. for most accounts, testing in IE8+ is sufficient, but for accounts with NHS attendees, we recommend testing in IE7 as a bare minimum.
